Management Information Systems (120 s.h.)
Admission/Declaration Requirements
Students may choose Management Information Systems (MIS) as an intended major upon admission to East Carolina University (ECU). Current ECU students in good academic standing (minimum 2.0 GPA) are also eligible to select MIS as a major. Before enrolling in 4000-level MIS concentration or business core courses, students must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of a minimum of 45 semester hours (s.h.)
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

Completion of the following courses with a minimum grade of C- (1.7) and a 2.5 cumulative GPA across all eight courses:

Note: Students who attempt any of the declaration courses listed above more than twice, including withdrawals made after the schedule adjustment period, may not major in any BSBA program.
